Meet Our Providers
You will meet with one of our obstetricians at your first prenatal visit. Your next appointment will be 4 weeks after the first appointment. This could be sooner depending on the conversation between you and your obstetrician. Typical appointments are every 4 weeks until you reach the 28 week point in your pregnancy. At that point you will be seen at least every 2 weeks until you reach the 36 week point in your pregnancy. At 36 weeks, you will be scheduled to be seen every week until you meet your beautiful new baby!
We encourage that you meet each obstetrician in our office, however, this isn’t a requirement. Babies come when they decide it is time. By meeting everyone, you are familiar with each provider.
Our obstetricians share on-call coverage, which means someone from the practice is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for deliveries and emergencies.
Personalized Care
While we do our best to enable you to have the pregnancy and birth experience you desire, our primary goal is a healthy pregnancy for both mother and baby. We provide expert, individualized, and personalized care throughout your pregnancy and postpartum. If a need arises for medical intervention, we’ll keep you informed, listen to your concerns, and answer your questions. Your approach to pregnancy, labor and delivery is yours, and we support you in your choices for prenatal testing and treatment as well as for labor and delivery.
Appointments
If you think you’re pregnant, contact us to schedule your first appointment. Your first appointment will begin with seeing an obstetrician in our office. During this appointment the obstetrician will meet you, review your information and schedule you for your first ultrasound.
With your second appointment, your obstetrician will take a comprehensive history and provide a physical examination.
Your third visit will be packed with education about pregnancy and prenatal information including diet and exercise, and we’ll discuss any concerns and answer any questions you may have.
Navigate to the Resources tab on our website where you will find some OB FAQs—frequently asked questions and answers to help you during your pregnancy journey.
